Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using FlightLine ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FlightLine is a cloud-based aircraft maintenance and fleet scheduling platform designed for flight schools, FBOs, and individual aircraft owners. Features include digital maintenance records, airworthiness directive tracking, scheduling, and optional AI-powered analysis tools.

3. Accounts and Organizations

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Organizations may invite members; the organization owner is responsible for all users within that organization.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts may not be transferred without our prior written consent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent maintenance records
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data without our written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

The Service is intended as a digital record-keeping and management tool. It does not replace the judgment of a certified airframe and powerplant (A&P) mechanic, inspection authorization (IA) holder, or any other qualified aviation professional. All maintenance decisions must comply with applicable FAA regulations.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid features require an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Paddle, our authorized merchant of record. Paddle collects and remits applicable taxes. By subscribing, you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Prices are listed in US dollars. FlightLine reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Your subscription continues at the then-current price unless you cancel before the next billing cycle.

Downgrades or cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that date. See our Refund Policy for details.

6. Data and Aviation Records

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service ("Customer Data"). By using the Service, you grant FlightLine a limited license to store, process, and display your Customer Data solely to provide the Service.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all maintenance records you create. FlightLine is not responsible for any regulatory violations, accidents, or other consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete records.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by FlightLine and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use FlightLine's trademarks or logos.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.FLIGHTLINE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLIGHTLINE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FlightLine and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your Customer Data, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time from Settings → Billing. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will retain your data for 30 days post-cancellation, after which it may be deleted. You may export your data before cancellation.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
